Scale Tuning
By default, this keyboard scale is set to Equal Temperament — the same tunin g as with
any acoustic piano. However, the settin g can be chan g ed to any other scale accordin g
to the music g enre or music style you want to play.
Selecting Scale
You can select a desired scale among the various pre-
set scales.

Press the [FUNCTION] button.

Use the CATEGORY [+] or [-] button to
call up “Scale” (Function 045).

Rotate the dial to select a scale.
The default setting is “1 Equal.”
Preset Scale types
Setting the Base Note for Each
Scale
Please make sure to specify the appropriate Base
Note, if you select a scale other than Equal Tempera-
ment, or create an original scale via Scale Tune func-
tion.
