Edit Window
There are three types of voices you can edit using Voice Editor: Normal voices, Drum voices, and
Plug-in voices. In the Library window, click the tab containing the Normal voice/Drum voice/Plug-in
voice that you wish to edit. Then double-click the voice (or select it and click the “Edit Window”
button) to open the Edit window.

Settings in the Edit window are transmitted via MIDI from your computer to your tone
generator in realtime.

Settings in the Edit window can be stored to a Library file.

List.

When using the MIDI echo (or “MIDI thru”) setting of the sequencer, the actual MIDI channel used for MIDI
messages (transmitted from the keyboard to this synthesizer through the computer) will differ depending on
the track selected in the sequencer. In other words, selecting a different track will automatically select a
different MIDI channel.
Voice Edit Window
When editing a voice, you will see the following screen:

VOICE panel
The name, category, category icon, and sub-category are displayed when editing a voice.
Using your computer keyboard, you can assign a different name to the voice.

Voice names can consist of up to 10 characters.

AUDITION PHRASE block
Click these text boxes and set the Phrase Type, Note Shift, and Velocity Shift of the Audition
Phrase.
