REMOVING THE PRIMARY FIXED SHEAVE
1. Remove:
• Primary fixed sheave bolt “1”
• Washer
• Primary fixed sheave “2”
TIP
While holding the primary fixed sheave with the
rotor holding tool “3”, loosen the primary fixed
sheave bolt.

REMOVING THE SECONDARY SHEAVE
1. Remove:
• Clutch housing nut “1”
• Clutch housing “2”
TIP
While holding the clutch housing with the rotor
holding tool “3”, loosen the clutch housing nut.
2. Loosen:
• Secondary sheave nut “1”
NOTICE
ECA21820
Do not remove the secondary sheave nut at
this stage.
TIP
While holding the secondary sheave with the ro-
tor holding tool “2”, loosen the secondary
sheave nut one full turn with the locknut wrench
“3”.

DISASSEMBLING THE SECONDARY
SHEAVE
1. Remove:
• Secondary sheave nut “1”
TIP
Install the sheave spring compressor “2” and
sheave fixed block “3” onto the secondary
sheave as shown. Then, compress the spring,
and remove the secondary sheave nut.
