Example:
If "F" is "+5", then:
M = 0.06 + (+5)/100 mm
= 0.06 + 0.05 mm
= 0.11 mm (0.004 in)
If "F" is "-3", then:
M = 0.06 + (-3)/100 mm
= 0.06 - 0.03 mm
= 0.03 mm (0.001 in)
(2) Install the shimming gauge bearing ,
and shim(s) .
NOTE:
If the original shim(s) is unavailable, start
with a 0.50 mm shim.
(3) Measure the specified measurement
(M).
2. Adjust:
• Shim thickness (T1)
Remove or add shim(s).
NOTE:
(M0) - (M) should be as close to "0" as pos-
sible.
