Sending fuel (portable tank)

When using the portable fuel tank “A”, send
fuel to the outboard motor according to the
following procedure.

1. Loosen the air vent screw 2 or 3 turns.

2. Align the fuel joint on the fuel hose with

the fuel joint on the outboard motor.
While pinching the fuel joint on the fuel
hose, securely connect the fuel hose to
the fuel joint on the outboard motor.
Then securely connect the other end of
the fuel hose to the fuel joint on the fuel
tank.

3. Wipe up any spilled gasoline immediate-

ly with dry rags.

TIP:

Dispose rags properly according to local
laws or regulations.
4. Squeeze the primer pump, with the ar-

row pointing up, until you feel it become
firm. During engine operation place the
tank horizontally, otherwise fuel cannot
be drawn from the fuel tank.
