Disassembling the cylinder block
1. Remove the thermoswitches

2. Remove the thermostat covers

then remove the thermostats

anodes

3. Remove the connecting rod caps

then remove the crankpin bearings

TIP:
• To prevent mixing the pistons, connecting
rods, and connecting rod caps, mark each
with an identification number

responding cylinder.
• Make sure to keep the parts in the order as
they were removed.

5. Remove the piston rings and arrange
them in order.
6. Remove the crankcase bolts 8 , 9 , and
0 in the order 1 , 2 , and so on.
