NOTE:

Install the needle bearing with its manufac-
turer’s marks

facing up.

Driver rod

Propeller shaft housing inspection

1. Clean:

Propeller shaft housing
(with a soft brush and solvent)

2. Inspect:

Propeller shaft housing
Cracks/damage

→

Replace.

2. Install:

Oil seals

NOTE:

First, fully install the lower oil seal and
then the upper.
