Sensor, switch and actuator
Engine ECM
Calculates the command values, and controls the fuel injection,
ignition timing, and the engine speed based on the signals sent by
each sensors.
Pulser coil
For detecting the engine speed.
For detecting the crankshaft angle and the position of the pistons.
For identifying each group of cylinders (#1 and #4, #2 and #3).
For utilizing the detected signals to controlling the fuel injection,
ignition timing, and the engine speed.
TPS
To detect the throttle valve opening.
Air pressure sensor
To detect the intake air pressure for controlling the ignition timing
and the fuel injection amount.
Air temperature sensor
To detect the intake temperature for compensating the ignition tim-
ing.
Engine temperature sensor
Compensate the ignition timing and the fuel injection amount.
Oil pressure sensor
To detect the oil pressure and apply it to the alert of low oil pres-
sure and the engine speed control.
Thermoswitch
In case of overheat, the thermoswitch is turned on. Once it is
turned on, the engine ECM activates the engine speed control
and the alert buzzer goes off.
Neutral switch
Detects the neutral position.
Engine shut-off switch
Activates the engine stop function compulsorily.
Fuel injector
Gives optimal amount of fuel at the optimal timing according to the
engine ECM command signals.
Ignition coil
Activates the ignition at the optimal timing based on the signals
from engine ECM.
High-pressure fuel pump
Pressurizes the fuel in the vapor separator, and delivers the fuel to
the fuel rails.
Shift cut switch
To identify shift-in or shift-out condition for the forward gearshift.
ISC valve
To adjust the amount of intake air into the engine at idle.
YDIS
Allows quick, precise and detailed diagnosis by reading out the
diagnosis codes and/or by performing the active test, after con-
necting the personal computer installed with the valid software.
