PARKING BRAKE RELEASE 

ADJUSTMENT

Before performing parking brake release adjust-
ment, adjust brake pedal free play.

1. 

Apply pressure to the parking brake pedal until 
the brake nail catches the first latch position on 
the sector.

2. 

Loosen the locknut and turn the bolt counter-
clockwise until it contacts the sector.

3. 

Turn the bolt clockwise 3/8 (120 degrees), then 
tighten locknut.
