DRIVE BELT
To remove the drive belt:
1.
Set the drive select lever halfway between for-
ward and reverse.
2.
Pull up on the drive belt and push it outward over
the edge of the secondary sheave.
3.
Turn the secondary sheave clockwise and the
drive belt will roll off the sheave.
4.
Remove the drive belt from the primary sheave.
CLUTCH
Maintenance is required each year for proper drive
operation. Refer to the Periodic Maintenance chart in
this owner’s manual.
Inspection:
To inspect the drive belt, check for frayed edges or
tears, and measure drive belt against the following
specification. If the belt shows excessive wear or
damage, replace the belt with a new one.
5.
To install the drive belt, reverse the above steps,
rolling the belt back over the secondary sheave.
1. New: 31.0 mm (1.20 in.)
2. Replace when belt
reaches: 27.0 mm
(1.06 in.)
