Changing songs
This lets you select other songs having roughly the same tempo as the
song currently playing or jump back to the beginning of the current song.
1
Press the [MENU/BACK] button once to call up the Select Song
display.
2
Press the
▼
(Down) button to select the next song as desired.
Pressing the
▲
(Up) button returns to the top (beginning) of the
current song.
Pressing the
▼
(Down) button skips to the next or previous song (in the current
Playlist or among all songs) that has roughly the same tempo as the currently
active exercise tempo. Songs that do not match the current tempo will be
skipped over.
To better understand this, consider the example song Playlist below:
If your exercise pace is about 140 bpm in this situation, a song having a
tempo of about 140 bpm will be played back. When Song 1 is played back, for
example, you can skip to Song 3 or Song 4 by using the
▼
(Down) button.
Songs 2 and 5 cannot be selected in this way, since they differ too greatly from
the current tempo.
After ten seconds, the Select Song display automatically closes and returns to
the previous display. You can also close the Select Song display manually
(before the ten seconds are up) by pressing the [MENU/BACK] button three
times. (Pressing it once calls up the Pace display. Pressing it twice calls up the
Change Disp. display. Pressing it again calls up the normal display.)

When the Learning Function (
) is on, the skip/top count is memorized. When you skip a
song, the BF-11 memorizes this action, assuming that the song is one that you don’t like, and
accordingly lowers the playback priority of the song. If you rewind (go back to the top of) the
song, the song is memorized as a favorite and according raises the playback priority.
