Editing the sample name
Here’s how you can edit the sample name that is
assigned when you import from an audio CD or WAV
file, or when you sample an external signal.

In the Quick Loop Sampler section, repeat-
edly press the [SAMPLE EDIT] key or hold
down the [SAMPLE EDIT] key and use CUR-
SOR [
]/[
] keys to access the SETUP page
of the SAMPLE screen.

Bank
Selects the sample bank that will be used for each
pad.

Sample name
Indicates the name of the sample that is assigned to
the currently selected sample bank.

NAME button
Opens the TITLE EDIT popup window, where you
can edit the name of the sample.

Move the cursor to the Bank field, and turn
the [DATA/JOG] dial to select the sample
bank whose name you want to edit.
The sample name is displayed at the right.

Move the cursor to the NAME button and
press the [ENTER] key.
The TITLE EDIT popup window will appear.
You may use only capital letters, numerals, and the
underscore “_” character.

When you have finished editing the name,
move the cursor to the OK button and press
the [ENTER] key.
The popup window will close, and the new name
will be applied.
