CYLINDER HEAD

INSTALLING THE CYLINDER HEAD

2. Install:

• camshaft sprocket

a. Turn camshaft bolt      in clockwise direction.

looseness.

Do not turn the bolt in Counterclockwise
direction to prevent from camshaft bolt

b. Align the “ I ” mark       on the camshaft sprocket

with the stationary pointer   

on the cylinder

head. When the “ I ” mark is aligned with

     the stationary pointer, the piston is at the Top 

Dead Center (TDC) on the compression stroke.

•

When the piston is at the Top Dead Center
(TDC) on the compression stroke, there
should be clearance between the valve stem
tips and their respective adjusting screws.

Tighten the nuts in two stages and a crisscross

pattern.

1.Install:

cylinder head gasket
holding nut/ sealing washer

 sprocket

 breather plate
 bolt stopper plate
 breather assy.
 therm unit
 spark plug

cylinder head cover
reed pipe assy.
pipe
