Yagi Directional Antennas
YA SERIES
The YA Series is built to precise specifications to perform in harsh weather
conditions. Mounting hardware is supplied for attachment to any pole or
pipe up to 3” diameter. Stacking kits are available to boost gain.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
PRE-INSTALLATION
• Larsen Yagis are designed to mount
vertically.
• YA3 Series (UHF): Gamma rod must
be facing down for weather consider-
ations (see Figure 1).
• YA5 and YA6 Series: The
insulated side of the driven ele-
ment should be facing up (see
Figure 2).
HOW TO INSTALL
1. Remove mounting hardware.
2. Assemble U-bolt(s) to “pipe clamp” bracket.
3. Insert bolts into mounting holes at the end of the Yagi.
4. Place flat washer on bolts, followed by the lock washer and hex nut.
5. Slide unit onto pipe/mast.
6. Tighten bolts securely.
7. Attach coax cable. Dress the cable along boom to the rear and secure
with tie wraps or tape.

Pulse will repair or replace without charge
any Larsen product which fails to meet this
warranty within one year of the purchase
date. Excluded is failure due to misuse such as striking objects,
improper installation, and use beyond specifications.
Pulse will not be responsible for any incidental or consequential
damages due to failure of a Larsen product under this warranty or
any implied warranty.
