4 Setting the Standby Beep
Set whether or emit the standby beep sound when the remote station completes trans-
mission.
1. Press and hold the [

2. Press the
DIAL
knob to select the desired setting.
ON
Emits the standby beep sound.
OFF
Does not emit the standby beep sound.
The default setting: ON
5 Turn the VW mode selection ON or OFF
Set the digital voice VW (Voice FR) mode selection.

ON
The digital voice VW (Voice FR) mode may be selected.

1 Setting the sub-band mute
The receive audio of the sub-band can be automatically muted when receiving signals in
the main band.

2. Press the

knob to select the desired setting.
OFF
The sub-band audio will not be muted when a signal is re-
ceived on the main band.
ON
The sub-band audio will be muted when a signal is received
on the main band.
The default setting: OFF
2 Setting the sensitivity of the microphone
The sensitivity (gain) of the microphone can be adjusted.

2. Rotate the

knob to select the desired setting.
The sensitivity can be selected from the following 5 levels.
MIN / LOW / NORMAL / HIGH / MAX
