. If you press and hold in the [
DISPLAY
] key for more
than two seconds, white letters will appear at the bot-
tom of the screen to indicate various functions, and
the [
F1
(
CH-1
)] ~ [
F7
(
P.BACK
)] and [
DISPLAY
] keys
will act as “Function” keys.
If you once more press and hold in the [
DISPLAY
]
key for at least two seconds, the white-lettered tabs
will disappear, and control of the various functions
will be cut off; the [
F1
(
CH-1
)] ~ [
F7
(
P.BACK
)] and
[
DISPLAY
] keys will no longer act as “Function” keys.

. Press the [
MENU
] button momentarily. The Menu list
will appear on the after-market monitor, and you will
see the Menu Number, Menu Groups, Menu Items,
and the current settings for each item display on the
monitor.

. Rotate the Main Tuning Dial knob (or press the
[
F6
(
)] and [
F7
(
)] keys) to select the Menu item
you wish to work on.

. Rotate the [
SUB VFO-B
] knob (or press the [
F4
(
)]
and [
F5
(
)] keys) to change the current setting of
the selected Menu item.

. When you have completed the changes to the Menu
item(s), press and hold in the [
MENU
] button for 2
seconds; the setting(s) will now be saved.
If you do not want to save the new setting, press the
[
MENU
] button momentarily; the radio will revert to
its previous condition.
