4.12 Depth of immersion (MPP 9x0 IDS multi parameter
probe)
4.12.1 General information
The multi parameter probes of the MPP 9x0 IDS series and the respec-
tive IDS sensors of the XXX-P series enhance your Multi 3430 meter
by the display of the parameter, depth of immersion (DPT).
The parameter depth of immersion is integrated as a secondary mea-
sured value in the display of all main measured values.
Example: Depth of immersion as main and secondary measured value
(MPP 9x0 IDS with a pH-IDS sensor of the XXX-P series)
When the probe is equipped to capacity (MPP 930 with 3 IDS sensors
of the XXX-P series), you can simultaneously measure three main
parameters (pH, O2,

) and two secondary parameters (temperature
and depth of immersion).
