Front speakers
In order to obtain the correct stereo
perspective the loudspeakers should be
placed symmetrically in front of the listener.
The distance between the speakers should
be roughly 80% of the distance between the
listener and one of the speakers. Or put in
another way, the angle seen by the by the
listener should be about 45 degrees, as
shown on the picture.
Angle of speakers
Either you can choose to place the speakers
angled towards the listener, or place them
angled straight ahead. Depending on the
room some speakers may sound better
when angled, others may not.
Cables
Try to keep cables as short as possible.
According to the electrical parameters, a
long conductor will have a bigger influence
on the sound than a short one. It may even
work as an antenna, picking up noise and
electromagnetic fields, causing disturbing
hum etc.
Make sure all connectors are clean and not
oxidized. All connections should be
mechanically stable, both power, signal and
speaker cables. Signal cables should be
separated from cables carrying large
currents.
Finally
Please remember that good sound
reproduction is a matter of personal
preference. You have to experiment and try
different settings to achieve it.
We wish you the best of luck!
