Operator Cab

Frame Sway Override Foot Switch

 Warning

The reach forklift includes a Frame Sway 

Override switch.  Improper use of the 

Frame Sway Override switch can cause 

property damage, injury, or death.

Figure 6-46.  Optional Frame Sway Override Foot Switch.

The frame sway feature becomes locked and will not 

operate when the boom is raised 40° or more.  Pressing 

the Frame Sway Override foot switch (located on the cab 

floor to the left of the service brake pedal) will override 

the lockout feature and allow frame sway.
