Hydraulic Tank Dump Valve E3
The hydraulic tank has a special dump valve assembly
(E3) for quicker, more precise draining of the tank. The
head of the valve is loosened by a wrench until all threads
are cleared from the base nut of the assembly.
Figure 4.53 – Hydraulic Tank Dump Valve E3
The red dot on the outside of the head is then rotated to a
direct downward location so the fluid flows directly down-
ward when the head is pulled outward from the assembly.
The flow is controlled by simply pulling the head outward
until the fluid stars to flow; the farther it is pulled, the
faster the flow.
The amount of fluid being drained can be throttled back
or stopped by simply pushing the head back into the
assembly. Once the tank has been drained, the head
needs to be inserted back into the assembly and then
tightened with a wrench.
Pump Ball Valve E4
A main ball-valve, E4, is located at the hydraulic tank
and it connects the hose to the hydraulic pump. This
ball-valve can be closed to repair or replace the hose or
the hydraulic pump. The ball-valve is OPEN when the
handle is in-line with the hose.

Warning
This ball-valve must be fully open whenever the
machine is to be operated to avoid hydraulic pump
failure.
MIL STD 209 Lift Points and Tie-Downs
This telehandler is equipped with MIL STD 209 lifting
points and tie-downs. For proper sling loading and
tie-down operational information, please reference the
