Distance from unit to Tee must be at most 1 m and pipes should be balanced, be of equal length and have equal
number of holes.
The use of additional bends as described in Section 3.5 on page 19 will have a minimal effect on performance
(response time) of either configuration.
Note:
Refer to Section 3.9.1 for hole and pipe length limits for supported detectors. These limits describe pre-
tested and acceptable system design values for the standard pipe configurations described in this
section, for each type of certified detector.
