The Command Line Interface

Air Cleaner

The air cleaner feature offers a number of predetermined filter rules that eliminate 
a great deal of unnecessary wireless traffic, resulting in improved performance. 
You may select 

all

 of the air cleaner rules for the greatest effect, or only specific 

rules, such as 

broadcast

 or 

multicast

, to eliminate only a particular source of 

traffic. The following options are offered:

MyAP(config)# filter add air-cleaner

Eliminate station to station ARPs over the air

  broadcast  Eliminate broadcast traffic from the air
