3.5.2 Uninstall SA Certificate
Click “uninstall certificate”, you will be reminded as follows:
“Are you sure to
uninstall the SA certificate?”
If you click “Yes”, the SA certificate will be uninstalled
from the system. You can click “No” to not to uninstall the certificate.
After the SA certificate is uninstalled, no detailed information will be displayed.
3.6 User permit
As an identity marker of
ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display and Information System)
and ECS (Electronic Chart System)
, user permit can ensure that the ECDIS/ECS
produced by each manufacturer only has a sole identity marker on a global basis. It is a
hexadecimal text composed by a group of 28 characters. Users can copy the user permit
and submit it to a data service provider to buy licenses of electronic charts. The data
service providers submit user permits through users, to generate corresponding S-63 data
packets of electronic charts. This mechanism can make sure that purchased data packets
of electronic charts can’t be used by other ECDIS/ECS.
