⚫ The B/D/F (Bus/Device/Function Number) is the default value when the server is fully configured with
PCIe cards. The value may differ if the server is not fully configured with PCIe cards or if a PCIe card with
a PCI bridge is configured.
⚫ The PCIe x16 slots are compatible with PCIe x16, PCIe x8, PCIe x4, and PCIe x1 cards. The PCIe cards are
not forward compatible. That is, the PCIe slot width cannot be smaller than the PCIe card link width.
