USB Settings

USB Settings allow you to set the USB connection mode and the print timeout value.

Configuring USB Settings

In Xerox

CentreWare

Internet Services, click

Properties

Connectivity

Setup

For Hardware Ports, next to USB Settings, click

Edit

For USB Connection Mode, select an option:

Software Tools

: This option disables Direct Printing via Driver. If you use Xerox

Copier

Assistant, select this option. Xerox representatives also use this feature to connect directly to

the printer and use diagnostic software and other utilities.

Direct Printing via Driver

: This option allows you to connect to the printer using a USB cable.

For Print Timeout, type the amount of time in seconds that the printer waits inactive before it

disconnects from a device that is connected to the port. Type

to disable the timeout.
