Xerox Secure Access Installation Guide

Secure Access Hardware Component 

Requirements

You should ensure that you have all the hardware provided:

Configuration 1

• Power  supply
• Power  cable
• Bypass key (metal key used to reset the device to defaults) See Resetting an Authentication Device 

in the Administration Guide Appendices.

• 10/100 Base-T Ethernet network cable
• Card  Reader

OR

Configuration 2

• Secure Access USB Card Reader.

Supported Card Readers

Secure Access supports the following card readers:

• ABA Magstripe
• Mifare (including HID iCLASS readers)
• Legic
• HID 125 kHz 
• Indala
• EM Marin
• Hitag
