General Troubleshooting

Duplex Fan

Caution

When performing this procedure, remove and cover the Print Cartridges
to avoid exposure to light.

Enter the Service Diagnostic menu (page 4-5).

Open the Front Cover.

Remove the Transfer Unit (page 8-8).

Remove the Print Cartridges (page 8-10).

Use a paper clip to secure the

Interlock Switch.

Perform the Duplex Fan test:

Engine Diag

Motor Test

Duplex Fan

Verify that the Fan is operating.

Press the Cancel button to stop the Duplex Fan test.

Remove the paper clip from the Interlock Switch.
