Theory of Operation

ADF Exit Operation

When the leading edge of the sheet obstructs the Leading Edge Detect
Sensor, the Exit Roller, driven by the ADF Motor, turns to feed the original to
the ADF Output Tray.

ADF Interlock

The ADF contains a magnet at its edge that activates a switch located in the
Scanner to indicate the position of the ADF.
