CPU Board Information

The CPU board is based on the Digicolor2 circuit which performs in particular the function of
microprocessor.

The executable code is stored in the flash memory Z460.

This flash memory is divided in two zones: a zone reserved for the storage of the code and a
zone reserved for the storage of the documents.

The code is loaded from this flash memory into SDRAM, and the microprocessor executes its
instructions from the SDRAM.

Before printing, the documents to be printed are stored as bitmaps in SDRAM.

The SDRAM is also used as the working memory for the Digicolor2.
