WebTools allows you to manage the EX/i Print Server remotely from the Internet or your
company’s intranet. Once enabled, you can access WebTools from a network computer. Make
sure that the Network Setup options are correct for your environment.

1 Enable TCP/IP networking from one of the following locations:
• In Setup, perform Network Setup.
• In Configure, click Network > Protocol > TCP/IP.
2 On each client computer, do the following:
• Assign a valid, unique IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address, if required.
• Make sure that a supported Internet browser is installed and that Java is enabled in the
browser.

1 Start an Internet browser and type the IP address or DNS name of the EX/i Print Server.
2 Click the tab that corresponds to the WebTool that you want to use.
