Appendix C:  Installing and Removing Printer Options

Removing

Follow the procedure below to remove a memory SIMM.

1

Power OFF the printer.

2

Disconnect the GFI power cord.

3

Loosen the thumbscrews and pull out the 

controller board. Set it down on a flat surface.

4

Carefully pull out the locking clips to release 

the SIMM, then rotate it down 45° and lift it 

out of the socket.
