RAP 3.4: Paper Misfeed in
ADF
This RAP will help isolate paper feed
problems in the ADF.
Check the scanner roller assemblies for
damage or contamination. Check the
retard pad assembly for excess wear or
contamination.
If paper still misfeeds in the scanner,
replace the ADF pad assembly. See REP
3.1.2: ADF Pad on page 4-28.
If this does not correct the problem,
replace the scanner assembly. See REP
4.1.1: Scanner Assembly on page 4-31.
