Image Quality
Use the image quality settings to adjust the quality of the
output.
Image Quality options
Text used for scanning text, solids, line art and low-frequency
halftones. The background suppression feature
automatically deletes a colored or gray background.
HINT:
If copying a document onto larger size media and the
output displays a line that appears to be from the edge of
the document, adjust the automatic exposure in the Image
Quality selection on the touch screen, or select Edge Erase
to delete the borders or edges.
Auto adjusts the image quality automatically, based on the quality
of the document. The
Document Centre 220/230/332/340
deletes colored backgrounds and sharpens the edges of
lines and text.
HINT:
Use Auto to make copies of documents that contain
halftones and mixed images.
