Chapter 10
1. Check crane torque limiter
After the test program is running, check if:
a. Display error messages
b. The early stage alarming and the closing alarm lamps light
c. Continuous alarm sound
If none of the above circumstances occur, the lifting torque limiter is normal.
2. Check height limit switch
a. Lift up the main boom.
b. Slowly lift the hook until the hook closes to the height limit switch heavy punch place.
c. Check whether the height limit switch off alarm lamp lights or not.
d. Check whether the crane action of increasing crane torque is effective or not. Check all crane
actions of increasing crane torque. (Lifting load/uplift main boom/stretching main boom).
If the height limit switch off alarming lamp lights and the action of increasing crane torque stops,
then the height limit switch is normal.
3. Check the crane control emergency stop switch
a. Put the load down and loose two control handles.
b. Press the crane control emergency stop switch down.
If the crane engine stops, the crane control emergency stop switch starts working normally.
4. Check rotary table lock device
Before the slewing operation, must remove the rotary table lock device (lift up rotary table
mechanical lock).Detailed instructions see 8.4.10.
