5.1 Changing the batteries

The batteries must soon be changed if the battery symbol

flashes on the display:
The batteries are nearly empty and should soon be
exchanged. The instrument still measures with the specified
accuracy.
Battery symbol
permanently
illuminated
A battery exchange is immediately necessary when the
battery symbol
h
is displayed permanently:
In this case, change the batteries immediately. The
instrument might no longer measure with the specified
accuracy. If the batteries are too weak to measure, the
turbidimeter switches itself off. It can only be switched on
again when the batteries have been replaced.
