3 Commissioning
Caution
Place the photometer on a hard, flat surface
and protect it against intensive light and
heat.

Insert the Memory Card
into the lateral open-
ing at the photometer up to the stop. The label
with the type designation and software version
must point upwards.
The Memory Card contains all data relevant
for the operation of the photometer.

The photometer operates at an environ-
mental temperature of + 5 °C to + 35 °C.
During transport from cold to warm sur-
roundings, condensation can form result-
ing in the malfunction of the meter. Before
putting the photometer into service, wait
until it has adapted to the new environ-
mental conditions (see also chapter
The photometer is a sensitive measuring
instrument. Take this into consideration
when choosing the surroundings. Espe-
cially avoid vapors and gases that might
attack mechanical, optical and electroni-
cal components of the photometer.
Do not do anything to the photometer that
you would not do to your hightec camera.
