15 Updating method data
Modified or new data of individual methods can also
be updated by means of a MemoChip.
The method data is read in after initializing the photo-
meter by switching it on (opening the cover) with the
MemoChip in place (recess in the housing front, with
the printing of the MemoChip facing upwards).
In the printout of the method list, the version status
(date) also appears for each method.

Switch off the photometer (close the cover)

Place the MemoChip in the recess (see also sec-
tion 1.1)

Switch on the photometer (open the cover).
If several MemoChips are required for a
method, ensure the correct sequence is
followed.
The following display appears (example):
The MemoChip has been recognized and the data is
read.
If the method is not yet stored, the following display
appears after approx. 3s:

to take over the data

to select the menu item, cancel

Confirm with

If several MemoChips are required for updating
extensive method data, a request to insert the
second MemoChip appears after the suc-
cessful identification of the first MemoChip.
