4.4.2 Extended access control
If the extended access control is enabled (without instrument block), a
symbol is displayed for the currently enabled access authorization.
Crown: Administrator logged in, all functions allowed
Tool: User with authorization for maintenance activities logged in (e.g.
calibration)
Eye: Observer without authorization
The relevant symbol is displayed depending on the currently active
user authorization. Functions that are not allowed are not displayed in
the menu.
Access as user or
administrator
If user authorization is required for a job, login with the password is
required. This can be done as follows:

Open the
Display/Options
/
Change user rights
menu.
The password prompt appears.
Enter the password with the arrow keys and confirm with OK.
The relevant user authorization is enabled.

Connect the electronic key to the USB interface of the MIQ/
TC 2020 XT terminal (if the administrator has enabled this function)
The relevant user authorization is enabled.
Protecting the system You have the following options of protecting the system:

Select the
Display/Options
/
Viewing only
menu.
The system is protected.

Disconnect the electronic key from the USB interface of the MIQ/
TC 2020 XT terminal.

After 10 minutes without keystroke, the user or administrator is auto
-
matically logged off from the system and the system safety is auto
-
matically activated.
