Intended Use
The product is intended to be used as a mobile inspection light source.
It’s
practical size and function makes
it possible to carry in a pocket. The magnetic function makes it possible to attach the work lamp to any
suitable, magnetic surface and thereby giving way for a hands-free operation. The operation of the product
requires a rechargeable battery of the type 3,7V 2600mAh (which is included in the product). If you use the
product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. Furthermore, an
improper use involves risks such as short-circuits, fire etc. Please read the operating instructions carefully
and do not discard them. If you pass the product on to a third party, please hand over these operating
instructions as well.

Safety Instructions
Please read the operating instructions carefully and pay attention to the safety
instructions. We do not cover liability for injuries/material damages resulting from fail-
ure to observe the safety instructions and the information in these operating instructions
regarding the proper handling of the product. Furthermore, in such cases, the warranty/
guarantee of the product will no longer be valid.
a)
General
•
The product is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
•
Do not leave packing materials unattended. It may become a dangerous plaything for children.
•
The product is designed for use indoors and outdoors. However, it must not be used in or
under water, as this will destroy it.
•
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong vibrations and
combustible gases, vapors and solvents.
•
Never expose the product to mechanical stress.
•
If safe operation is no longer possible, take the device out of service and secure it against
unintended use. Safe operation is no longer possible, if the product:

has visible damage,
-
no longer functions properly,
-
has been stored under adverse ambient conditions for an extended period of time or
-
has been exposed to considerable strain during transport.
•
Please handle the product carefully. The product can be damaged if crushed, struck or drop-
ped, even from a low height.

Do not look directly into the LED light!
•
Do not look directly or with optical instruments into the light!
•
Maintenance, adjustment and/or repair work may be carried out only by an expert or a
specialist workshop ONLY!
•
If you have any questions, that are not answered in these operating instructions, please con-
tact our technical customer service or another specialist.
•
If the work lamp offers the possibility of changing the battery (directions are found in the
section “Inserting batteries,
replacing
batteries” –
then please observe the correct polarity
when placing the rechargeable battery into the unit.
•
If you are not going to use the device for a while, remove the rechargeable battery to prevent
damage from leaking. Leaking or damaged rechargeable batteries can cause acid burns
upon contact with the skin. Thus, you should wear protective gloves when handling damaged
batteries/rechargeable batteries.
•
Keep the rechargeable batteries out of the reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying
around, as they may be swallowed by children or pets.
•
Replace all the rechargeable batteries at the same time. Mixing old and new rechargeable
batteries or mixing different rechargeable batteries in the device may lead to battery leaks
and will thus damage the device.
•
Do not dismantle rechargeable batteries, do not short-circuit them and do not throw them
into fire. Never charge conventional, non-rechargeable batteries. There is a danger of
explosion!
Inserting Batteries, Replacing Batteries
•
Please note: This product is pre-installed with a rechargeable battery!

Operating and charging procedure
Operation:
Top light
•
1

push on the on/off switch
“ ” turns on the top light.
•

push on the on/off switch
“ ” turns off the top light.
Main light
•
Turn the stepless power switch in clockwise direction to activate the main light. Adjust the brightness
from low to high by turning clockwise until it cannot turn longer. The main light is now under high-mode
operation. To lower the brightness, turn the stepless power switch in counter clockwise direction.
•
Turn off the main light by turning the stepless power switch in counter clockwise direction until it cannot
turn anymore.
Magnetic function and hook
•
Use the magnetic function (magnet installed in the bottom) to attach the work lamp on any suitable,
magnetic surface for a hands-free operation. The magnet can be tilted to aid the angle of the light
source.
•
Use the hook located in the bottom of the magnet to attach the lamp to an appropriate surface/element
for hands-free operation.
Charging the battery:
•
Switch the lamp off before you connect the USB charging.
•
Connect the USB cable to the work light and put the charging adaptor into a power switch.
•
The battery indicator will start to blink when charging has started. When charging has finished (= the
battery is fully charged) the light will stay in constant green color.
•
Please use the provided adaptor and USB cable ONLY! Any non-recommended charger and/or USB
cable can lead to a fire and eventually destroy the lamp.
Care and Cleaning
•
Never use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these could
damage the enclosure or even impair operation.
•
Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
a)
Product
Electronic devices are recyclable material and do not belong in the household waste. Dispose of
the unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted batteries/rechargeable batteries and dispose of them separately from the
product.
b)
Batteries/rechargeable batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all spent batteries/rechargeable
batteries; disposal of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Batteries/rechargeable batteries contain harmful materials and are labelled with the symbol
shown to indicate that disposal in the household waste is forbidden. The symbols of the critical
heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (the marking can be seen on the battery/
rechargeable battery, e.g. underneath the refuse bin symbol shown on the left).
You can return your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the official collection points of
your community, in our stores, or at places where batteries or rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thereby
fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
