8. MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

Control all the components listed in section
«PRE OPERATION CHECKS»

Check the tightening of bolts, screws and nuts ○
Check the oil level and top up if necessary
○
Replace the engine oil (following the 20 first
operating hours)

Clean the air filter ○
Replace the air filter (following the 20 first
operating hours)
○
Clean the spark plug and adjust the electrode gap,
if necessary
○
Control the fixing of the pump to the engine
○
Control the sealing of the connections
○
Replace the spark plug
○
Drain the water, clean the filter and the tank of the
fuel cock
○
Replace the fuel filter ●
Replace the fuel pipes
●
Clean the carbon deposit from the cylinder head
and piston face
●
Control and adjust the valve clearance ●
Change the antivibratory mountings
●
Clean and adjust the carburettor ●
Have the engine serviced (if necessary)

Open the body pump and clean ○
Check the function of the exhaust system

Empty and clean the fuel tank ○
