NOTE
The flow of the pump is controlled by adjusting the engine speed. The flow rate is increased by
moving the speed control to fast position. The flow rate is reduced by moving the speed control
to idle position.
NOTE
To save fuel and prolonge the lifespan of the pump, use the CHOKE LEVER to CHOKE (CLOSE)
position only when it is required.
RECOMMENDATIONS DURING OPERATION
WARNING

Do not crush the suction and discharge pipes.
□
Protect the suction and discharge hoses from possible vehicle passages and avoiding to trample
the suction and discharge hoses. [Fig. 52 and 53]
6. STOPPING THE PUMP
■
Prior to disconnecting the water fittings, make sure the pump has stopped.
■
Never disconnect the fittings when the pump is running.

If the delivery hose is equipped with a valve, stop the engine before closing the valve. [Fig. 54]
STOPPING THE ENGINE (GASOLINE)
1. Move speed control to Idle position; [Fig. 32 or 33]
2. Turn the ON/OFF switch to OFF (STOP) position; [Fig. 34]
3. TP 36 H / TP 65 H / TP 110 H : Close the fuel cock; [Fig. 35]
4. Slightly pull the starter rope until it becomes a bit difficult. Let it come back to initial position.

IN CASE OF LOW TEMPERATURE (≤ 0°C)
After stopping the engine:
1. Remove the drain plug from the pump body; [Fig. 37 or 38]
2. Drain the water from the body pump; [Fig. 39]
3. Empty water from suction and discharge pipes.
