1. Always install the pump on a flat and stable floor;
2. Close the tank valve before filling the tank up.
3. Open the tank cap [Fig. 08];
4. Control the fuel level (95 or 98 unleaded gasoline). If the fuel (unleaded gasoline) level is too low,
top up using the convenient fuel (unleaded gasoline) of the pump.

NOTE
Do not forget to fit a filter on the filling hole before topping up with fuel (Fig. 09) to prevent dust,
dirts or any other foreign bodies from getting into the tank.
WARNING
■
Carefully wipe off the fuel spilt on the ground before starting the engine.
3.5. CONTROLLING COMPONENTS
Before starting the engine, control the following points:
•
Fuel leaks on fuel pipes, etc;
•
Tightening of screws and nuts;
•
Parts damaged or broken;
•
Vicinity of the pump.
3.6. PUMP PLACEMENT
For best pump performance, place the pump set near the water level, and use hoses that are no
longer than necessary. That will enable the pump set to produce the greatest output with the least
self-priming time. [Fig. 12]
As head increases, pump set output decreases, the length, type and size of the suction and discharge
hoses can also significantly affect pump output. Minimizing suction head (placing the pump set near
the water level) is also very important for reducing self-priming time.
4. HOSES CONNECTIONS
Check following points before starting engine:
•
Check the general condition of the pipes;
•
Ensure that the suction sealing washer is in good condition;
•
Ensure that the strainer is in good condition and is installed on the suction hose.
