Cutting Speed Chart

 

The cutting speed is the speed of the moving tool cutting edges, it is calculated from the spindle speed of the 
milling machine and the diameter of the cutter. The chart illustrates the dependency between the cutting speed, 
the tool diameter and the spindle speed.

Select the speed for the cutter used according to 
the chart and be sure to avoid settings within the 
danger zones marked in yellow and red.
