Up/Down System
Adjust the up/down chain tension as needed. Measure chain tension with the head all the way to the top of
the vertical mast. Find the chain adjusting bolt at the bottom of the mast. Use the adjustment nut to adjust
the bolt until the center of the chain can be deflected 3/4” (1.9cm) with a 5 lb. (2.3 KG) deflection force..
CAUTION!
Do not over-tension the chain. Over-tensioning the chain may lead
to early failure of the gear reducer.

Adjust the motor belt tension as needed. To do this, loosen the motor mounting bolts and turn adjustment
bolts clockwise or counterclockwise evenly, until the belt is properly tensioned. Tighten the motor mounting
bolts.
