Sawing Problems
WARNING!
Before performing service near moving parts such as blades, pul-
leys, motors, belts and chains, first turn the key switch to the OFF (#0) position
and remove the key. Failure to follow this may result in serious injury or death.
PROBLEM
CAUSE
SOLUTION
Blades Dull Quickly
Dirty logs
Clean or debark logs, especially on
entry side of the cut
When grinding teeth, heating
too much and causing teeth to
soften
Grind just enough metal to restore
sharpness to the teeth. Use
water/coolant while sharpening blade
Poor sharpening techniques
Make sure the tip is being sharpened
completely: Read the instructions with
your blade sharpening equipment
carefully
Blades Break Prematurely

Rubber belts on blade wheels
