Sawdust Removal

Remove the excess sawdust from the drive and transfer chains every 50 hours of operation.
CAUTION!
Never apply grease to the drive and transfer chains.
It causes sawdust buildup in chain links.
3.3
Transfer Chain Tension
CAUTION!
Do not over-tension the chains of TVS tables, Incline Log
Deck and Cross Transfer Deck. Over-tensioning may lead to
premature failure of the gear, bearings, rollers and chains.
Use the adjustment bolts shown below to adjust the transfer chain tension as necessary. The chains
should have about 100 mm of slack.
See Figure 3-2.
The figure shows how the transfer chain tension should be adjusted.
CAUTION!
If the chain is too loose, the dogs located on it may hit the
deck frame. Tension the chain so that the dogs can move freely.
