Water softener (dishwasher salt) causes corrosion unless you
activate a cleaning programme immediately after the filling of the
dedicated container. Corrosion can damage the appliance beyond repair!
The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by corrosion
due to improper operation.

4.1.2 Water hardness levels / water softener consumption

The water hardness values in the table below are given in degrees of German
hardness (°dH), in degrees of French hardness (°fH), in degrees Clarke (°Clarke)
and in mmol/l.

Select the degree of water hardness according to the requirements in your place
of residence.
❖
You need to get the information on the local water hardness range. You can
receive all relevant information from your local water supplier.
The appliance is equipped with 6 water softener consumption levels (H 1 - H 6).
It is recommended to set the consumption level according to the table below (see
also chapter 4.1.3 S
