III. Operation
>> Before using, please make sure your camera is fully charged.
>> Please make sure the Micro SD card has been formatted already and is securely fitted
into the camera’s SD card slot, or it will not work. We recommend you use a SDHC Class
10 Micro SD card.
[Note]:
1). If no Micro SD card is fitted into the camera, the red indicator light will be on for 5 seconds and
then turn off after flashing 3 times. The camera will shut down automatically.
2). If the Micro SD card contains broken files, the red indicator light will flash 3 times and then
turn off. The camera will shut down automatically.
3.1. POWER ON/OFF
3.1.1. Power on the camera by pressing the Power Button for 3 seconds. The red indicator
light will come on and flash once then stay illuminated, indicating the camera has entered into
standby mode automatically.
3.1.2. Power off the camera by pressing the Power Button for 2 seconds. The red indicator
light will turn off.
[Note]:
1). If the camera is in standby mode without any operation more than 2 minutes, the red indicator
light will turn off. The camera will shut down automatically.
2). If the camera is in extremely low battery, once the camera is powered on, the indicator light
will flash 6 times and then turn off. The camera will shut down automatically.
3.2. VIDEO RECORDING
3.2.1. Power on the camera by pressing the Power Button for 3 seconds. The red
indicator light will come on and flash once then stay illuminated, indicating the camera
has entered into standby mode automatically.
3.2.2. Press the Video Recording Button for 2 seconds to start video recording. The red
indicator light will turn off, then the blue indicator light will flash 3 times and keep flashing
slowly.
3.2.3. Press the Video Recording Button once to stop video recording. The blue indicator
light will keep flashing twice and turn off, then the red indicator light will remain solid,
indicating the camera is back to standby mode.
[Note]:
1). A video file will be generated and saved every 30 minutes automatically.
2). The camera can record video for 1 hour continuously on a full charge.
3). Video Resolution: 640X480 Video Format: AVI
4). If the camera is in low battery during video recording, the blue indicator light will turn off, then
the red indicator light will be on for 1 second and then turn off. The camera will shut down
automatically and the video files will be saved in the Micro SD card automatically.
3.3. CAMERA/STILL PHOTOGRAPHY
3.3.1. Power on the camera by pressing the Power Button for 3 seconds. The red indicator
light will come on and flash once then stay illuminated, indicating the camera has entered into
standby mode automatically.
3.3.2. Press the Camera Button once to take a photo. The blue indicator light will flash
once and turn off, then the red indicator light will remain solid, indicating the camera is
back to standby mode.
IV. MP3 Music Play
>> The MP3 music playing cannot go on with the camera’s function simultaneously.
>> Please import the MP3 files into the Micro SD card in advance, or there will be no
music to play.
>> As the MP3 player isn’t built in the loudspeaker, please insert the headset to listen to
music.
4.1. POWER ON/OFF
4.1.1. Power on the MP3 player by pressing the Power Button for 3 seconds. The red
indicator light will come on and flash once then stay illuminated, indicating the camera
has entered into standby mode automatically.
4.1.2. Power off the MP3 player by pressing the Power Button for 2 seconds. The red
indicator light will turn off.
4.2. MUSIC PLAY/PAUSE
4.2.1. Press the Power Button once to play music in standby mode. The red indicator light
will keep flashing during the music playing.
4.2.2. Press the Power Button once again to stop playing music. The red indicator light
will stop flashing and stay illuminated, indicating the MP3 player is back to standby mode.
4.2.3. Press the Power Button once to play the previous or next song.
4.3. VOLUME INCREASE/DECREASE
During the music playing, press and hold the V+ Button/ V- Button to increase or decrease the
music volume.
V. Video/Image File Uploads
5.1. Power off the camera, remove the Micro SD card and insert it into a card reader.
5.2. Insert the card reader into a proper PC computer USB port.
5.3. The Micro SD card will be recognized as a removable disk drive.
5.4. All the files can be accessed in the drive.
VI. Setting Time/Date Stamp
6.1. Power off the camera, remove the Micro SD card and insert it into a card reader.
6.2. Insert the card reader into a proper PC computer USB port.
6.3. Removable disk drive folder appears.
6.4. Click on the drive in the root directory and open the txt document file named
“time.txt”. If you can’t find it, create a new one.
6.5. Write the current date and time in the “time.txt” file with the correct format:
YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS (For example: 2016-04-12 14:24:32). Save this file.
6.6. Restart the camera and the system will upgrade the program automatically.
VII. Charging
7.1. Connect the camera to an outlet AC power supply by using the USB cable and the
DC5V charging adapter provided.
7.2. The red indicator light will keep flashing during the charging process.
7.3. It will take 1 hour to obtain a full charge.
7.4. The red indicator light will turn off when the camera is fully charged.
VIII. Resetting
If, for any reason, the camera stops responding or isn’t working properly, a quick reset will
restore it back to normal operation.
Operation:
When the camera is powered on, use a pin to press the Reset Button once;
the camera will shut down automatically. You can restart the camera with the factory
default settings.
