III. Operation
>> Before using, please make sure your camera is fully charged.
>> Please make sure the Micro SD card has been formatted already and is securely fitted
into the camera’s SD card slot, or it will not work. We recommend you use a SDHC Class
10 Micro SD card.
[Note]:
If no Micro SD card is fitted into the camera, the blue and red indicator lights will flash 10 times,
then the blue one will turn off and the red one will flash 3 times and then turn off. The camera will shut
down automatically.
3.1. POWER ON/OFF
3.1.1. Power on the camera by pressing the Power Button once. The camera will vibrate
for 1 second. Both red and blue indicator lights will be illuminated for 3 seconds, then the
blue indicator light will turn off while the red one will stay illuminated, indicating the
camera has entered into standby mode automatically.
3.1.2. Power off the camera by pressing the Power Button for 1 second in standby mode.
The red indicator light will flash 3 times and will turn off right after the camera vibrates
once.
[Note]:
1). The camera will shut down automatically if it is in standby mode without any operation more than
3 minutes.
2). If the camera is running low on batteries, both red and blue indicator lights will come on, then the
blue one will turn off while the red one will be illuminated for 5 seconds and then start flashing fast.
Wait 5 seconds and the camera will vibrate once and shut down automatically.
3.2. VIDEO RECORDING
3.2.1. Power on the camera by pressing the Power Button once. The camera will vibrate
for 1 second. Both red and blue indicator lights will be illuminated for 3 seconds, then the
blue indicator light will turn off while the red one will stay illuminated, indicating the
camera has entered into standby mode automatically.
3.2.2. Wait 10 seconds. Then press the Power Button once to start video recording. The
red indicator light will keep flashing and the camera will vibrate once.
3.2.3. Press the Power Button once again to stop video recording. The camera will vibrate
once and the red indicator light will stay illuminated, indicating the camera is back to
standby mode.
[Note]:
1). A video clip will be generated and saved every 5 minutes automatically.
2). The camera can record video for 80 minutes continuously on a full charge.
3). Each video clip will take up about 805MB storage space of the Micro SD card.
4). Video Resolution: 1920x1080P Video Format: AVI
3.3. CAMERA/STILL PHOTOGRAPHY
3.3.1. Power on the camera by pressing the Power Button once. The camera will vibrate
for 1 second. Both red and blue indicator lights will be illuminated for 3 seconds, then the
blue indicator light will turn off while the red one will stay illuminated, indicating the
camera has entered into standby mode automatically.
3.3.2. Press the Mode Button once to enter into still photograph mode. The camera will
vibrate for 1 second. The red indicator light will turn off and the blue indicator light will
remain solid.
3.3.3. Press the Power Button once to take a photo. The camera will vibrate once and the
blue indicator light will flash once.
3.4. AUDIO RECORDING
3.4.1. Power on the camera by pressing the Power Button once. The camera will vibrate
for 1 second. Both red and blue indicator lights will be illuminated for 3 seconds, then the
blue indicator light will turn off while the red one will stay illuminated, indicating the
camera has entered into standby mode automatically.
3.4.2. Press the Mode Button once to enter into still photograph mode. Press the Mode
Button again to enter into audio recording mode. Both red and blue indicator lights will
remain solid.
3.4.3. Press the Power Button once to record audio only. The red indicator light will start
flashing.
3.4.4. Press the Power Button once again to stop audio recording. The red indicator light
will stop flashing and remain solid with the blue one.
[Note]:
1). A video clip will be generated and saved every 15 minutes automatically.
2). Audio Format: WAV
3.5. IR NIGHT VISION
When the camera is recording video or is ready to take a picture, hold down the Mode Button
for 1 second to turn on the IR LEDs. The camera will vibrate for 1 second and the yellow
indicator light will come on and remain solid. Press and hold the Mode Button for 1 second
again to turn off the IR LEDs and the yellow indicator light will turn off.
IV. Video/Image/Audio File Uploads
4.1. Power off the camera, remove the Micro SD card and insert it into a card reader.
4.2. Insert the card reader into a proper PC computer USB port.
4.3. The camera will be recognized as a removable disk drive.
4.4. All the files can be accessed in the “DCIM” folder.
V. Setting Time/Date Stamp
5.1. Power off the camera, remove the Micro SD card and insert it into a card reader.
5.2. Insert the card reader into a proper PC computer USB port.
5.3. The camera will be recognized as a removable disk drive.
5.4. Click on the drive in the root directory and inside the root directory, open the file
named “timerset.txt”.
5.5. Write the current date and time in the “timerset.txt” file with the correct format:
YYYY.MM.DD HH:MM:SS Y (For example: 2017.04.12 14:24:32 Y). If you don’t need the
time and date stamp on the video footage, you can add an “N” in the “timerset.txt” file.
(For example: 2017.04.12 14:24:32 N). Save this file.
5.6. Restart the camera and the system will upgrade the program automatically.
VI. Charging
6.1. Power off the camera and connect the camera to an outlet AC power supply using the
DC5V power adapter and the USB cable provided.
6.2. The red indicator light will keep flashing during the charging process.
6.3. It will take 3 hours to obtain a full charge.
6.4. The red indicator light will remain solid when the camera is fully charged.
VII. Resetting
If for any reason, the camera stops responding or isn’t working properly, a quick reset will
restore it back to normal operation.
Operation:
When the camera is powered on, press and hold the Mode Button, then press the
Power Button; all indicator lights will turn off and the camera will shut down automatically.
Then you can restart the camera with factory default settings.
