Copying Tool Template to a New Tool

(PROGRAM

–TOOL MANAGER – SELECT TOOL TEMPLATE (# 9999999) –COPY TOOL)

Tool Template, which is assigned tool number 9999999, is a tool you can program with settings
common to two or more tools (see

Tool Program Menu,

page 112). When used with COPY TOOL,

Tool Template allows you to duplicate the same constellation of settings across multiple tools. Tool
Template is not used to run the press.

NOTICE

PASSWORD PROTECTION FOR TOOL TEMPLATE

To prevent unauthorized changes, you can set Security Access (page 92) so that a password is
required to change the Tool Template.

To copy Tool Template to a new tool, do the following:

On the Tool Manager screen, highlight TOOL # 9999999, TOOL TEMPLATE, and press Copy
Tool. Windows similar to the following appear.
